At HPA Distribution LLC (HPA), we are focused on being the most reliable supplier of High Purity Aluminum products for specialty applications at the most competitive prices. We know that these products are used in hi-tech applications such as electronic, optical, coating, chemical, and research applications where quality and reliability are top concerns, and we hope we can meet your critical requirements.
We also proud to stock one of the largest range of purities, products and sizes for prompt shipment, but we are equally proud of our ability to custom produce products whether one piece only or larger commercial orders.
That being said, we have recently updated our website to include online ordering and while we will do our best to keep our website inventories up to date, there may be occasional discrepancies of what is displayed online versus actual inventory due to our mix of off-line business, and we will do our best to update the online inventory as best as humanly possible.
Additionally, you should be aware of the following:
Ordering: Upon receipt of your order, an automatic email detailing order and payment will be sent. However, once we receive the order, we will review the order during the business day to make sure that the product(s) are still in stock and that pricing is correct. Upon review, unless we find any issue, which we would promptly advise, the product(s) will be shipped as per the order specification, and an email will be sent thereafter with the tracking number.
We reserve the right to refuse a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from the Website whether or not that product has been sold. If we have any reason to question the purchase of a particular product, we may ask for information to make sure that the product is used for an acceptable application. We will comply with all applicable USA laws and regulations, and this will especially apply for any export orders which we may require additional verification.
Payment: Orders though our Website are processed by Shopify Payments Checkout. Shopify accept all major credit and debit cards, and Shopify has achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI), and adheres to the most stringent levels of security, ensuring that your details remain secure throughout the transaction process. All payments will be displayed on your credit card statement as SP* HIGHPURITYALUMINU.
Sales Tax Policy & Tax-Exempt Organizations
High Purity Aluminum (HPA) is a specialized B2B supplier of ultra-high purity aluminum (minimum 4N / 99.99%) and select high-purity metals. Our materials — foil, foil coils, rods, wire, sheet, plate, pellets/slugs/shot, ingots/blocks, and sputtering targets — are sold exclusively as raw materials for advanced research, electronics, aerospace, quantum technologies, and other high-tech specialty manufacturing applications.
Our primary customers are universities, government research laboratories, national laboratories, and technology companies that use these materials in further research or production. Because these are wholesale/raw-material transactions to research and manufacturing entities, HPA does not charge, collect, or remit sales tax on any orders.
For Tax-Exempt Organizations (Universities, Government Labs, Non-Profits, etc.):
• Please provide a valid, current tax exemption certificate (or resale/manufacturing exemption certificate) at the time of order or upon request.
• Clearly identify the exempt entity in your billing and shipping information.
• We maintain records of exempt transactions and routinely work with university purchasing departments and national laboratory procurement offices.
Important Notes:
• It is the purchaser's sole responsibility to determine and remit any applicable use tax or other indirect taxes in their jurisdiction.
• Customers claiming a manufacturing or resale exemption should ensure their certificate references the intended use of high-purity aluminum as a component or processing input.
• HPA makes no warranty regarding tax treatment in every jurisdiction. Tax laws vary by state and country.

Delivery and Postage: Unless otherwise specified, HPA Distribution LLC will ship all merchandise via Ground shipping. Any delivery dates listed on orders are estimates only. Each order is carefully selected, checked and prepared for shipping. We take great care to pack our products for shipment. In the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, please follow the instructions regarding returns and exchanges below. All pricing is FOB Florida basis with shipping charges additional. Shipping quotes are generated automatically when you enter your delivery address. HPA will not be responsible for any customs clearance, import or duty charges for non-USA orders. Once goods are sent out, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by domestic or international postage carriers. See Shipping Policy section for more details.
Prices and stock availability: We reserve the right to change product prices, product specifications and availability at any time. We aim to ensure stock information on highpurityaluminum.com is as accurate as possible, but cannot guarantee that stock is always available. If the product you have ordered is not available, we will contact you by email/phone as appropriate and you will have the option either to wait until the item is available or cancel your order. All prices displayed are FOB Florida, USA, and shipping charges are always additionally charged.
Custom Orders: If you are planning to order a particular product in large quantities, feel free to contact us first. Unless stated otherwise, prices do not include delivery charges which will be calculated when you enter your address details. If you cannot find a particular item on the website or require machining services not listed, please send us a specific inquiry to info@highpurityaluminum.com. It is not possible to list every single configuration and we are happy to custom produce non-standard orders.
Returns, Refunds, and Withdrawal Policy: High Purity Aluminum (HPA Distribution LLC) operates exclusively on a B2B (business-to-business) basis. We supply high-purity aluminum raw materials, products, and related services to businesses, universities, research institutions, and other commercial or institutional customers.
Returns and cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis and require prior approval. Custom or made-to-order products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable. For standard stock items, returns may be accepted within 10 days of delivery if the material is unused, in original condition/packaging, and accompanied by proper documentation. Restocking fees may apply. All returns must be pre-authorized via our customer service team. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error. Refunds, where approved, will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after receipt and inspection of the returned goods. Governing Law: All transactions are subject to the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and any applicable international trade terms.
Important Notice Regarding EU Consumer Rights: Under EU consumer protection law, including the updated requirements from EU Directive 2023/2673 (effective June 19, 2026), the 14-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) applies only to consumers (natural persons acting outside their trade, business, or profession). As a business to business supplier, these consumer protections do not apply to transactions with our customers. All sales are governed by our commercial terms and conditions.
